enjoys edge in Rayadurgam constituency

YSR Congress seems to be in an advantageous position in the
Rayadurgam constituency despite the existence of anti-incumbency
factor against the party.

The party candidate and the incumbent, Kapu Ramachandra Reddy, in
spite of having won the seat twice in a row, seems to have overcome
the anti-incumbency factor, thanks to the YSR’s image and the
promises made by Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy.

Sizeable Muslim population in the constituency is expected to support
YSRC as the TDP entered into an alliance with the BJP
