BJP, TDP have
turned politics into a game of chess: Jagan
- “Give us all the
25 MP seats in this region. We will select a leader who will help our
State and we will make him sit in the Prime Minister’s chair,”
said Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy. We will decide whether Narendra Modi or
Ellayya or Pullayya should become the Prime Minister.
- TDP and BJP joined
hands with the Congress-led UPA government to divide the State for
‘the sake of votes and seats’.
- TDP had claimed
credit for granting statehood to Telangana in the run up to the first
phase of elections in the State on April 30. But TDP president N.
Chandrababu Naidu was now blaming him and his party for the State’s
division, ahead of the second phase of elections in Seemandhra.

The parties, which have turned politics into a ‘political chess
game’, are responsible for ‘foisting cases to get rid of me in
politics’, contended Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy.
