Naidus vote valid,says CEC
- TDP Chiefs Vote Preference Disclosure Triggers Controversy
-  Naidu after voting interacted with the electronic media and said he voted as per the alliance. Indirectly, the TDP chief hinted that he had voted for the BJP.
-  Bhanwarlal immediately reacted and announced that no voter should reveal his voting preference publicly. If one does so,the vote will be made invalid. This had the TRS and YSRCP spreading reports that Naidus vote could be declared invalid.
- Angry over the comments made by Bhanwarlal, the TDP supremo immediately consulted his advisors and dashed off a letter to chief election commissioner VS Sampath charging Bhanwarlal with making irresponsible statements.
- Sampath later issued a clarification that the vote cast by Naidu will be counted, much to the embarrassment to Bhanwarlal.
