Modi did not violate poll code,says BJP
- BJP,while saying it respects the EC's order and will abide by its ruling,defended Modi by pointing out that he wasn't at fault as he was away from the prohibited zone of the polling booth.He has not violated the election code as it was not an organised press conference
- Congress congratulated the EC for the action against Modi. The party also asked the EC to cancel Modi's candidature from both Vadodara and Varanasi.
